I’M A CREEP, I’M A WEIRDO: Imagine my despair at the QUTLS’ Annual General Meeting when I am the only person who nominated to run this beautiful publication… do you all hate me? I’m writing this article during the election proceedings by the way. This is live journalism at its peak.

Education Officer had 16 applicants (allegedly I was one of them). The GSJ had 1. It was just me. What do they have that I don’t? Why don’t you love me? Why are you leaving me if I didn’t do anything wrong??

When I took questions for my potential second term they asked me about “creative droughts”. I don’t even know what that is. All I could think of was you guys because all I want is for you to submit me your beautiful articles. I’m so fucking lonely. This is the way the GSJ ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.

So election results have released. I am dead. The GSJ is no longer. Well not yet. But it’s terminal. November 30. Save the date. You did this. You villains. Why does no one wish to carry the weight of my crown? Technically I did this. But I am spreading my wings. Home is where the heart is. From the comment sections to the law revue ads. The GSJ will always be in my heart. You will always be in my heart. I love you, dear reader.
